Job Summary
Groundskeeper for wastewater facilities responsible for coordinating preventive maintenance, diagnosing and troubleshooting equipment, and maintaining safety and regulatory compliance of utility systems. Role includes on-site supervision of contractors, mentoring new technicians, reading blueprints and manuals to install/operate machinery, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring proper functioning of machinery and plant-wide systems in a Texas facility. Requires mechanical aptitude, knowledge of safety procedures (confined spaces, hot work), and familiarity with environmental permitting/compliance; experience with CMMS and industrial operations is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of related industrial operations experience
- Exhibits mechanical ability
- Understanding of governmental regulations including environmental permitting/compliance
- CMMS experience
- Safety compliance knowledge including Life Saving Rules, Safe Start, energy control isolation, confined space entry, hot work
