Job Summary
Polices grounds daily and throughout the day as needed. Completes grounds work including planting, pruning, weeding, seeding, and removing foliage, shrubs, trees, or grasses. Operates various mechanical or electrical equipment and garden tools. Assists maintenance team with snow removal if applicable. Removes trash from vacant apartments prior to make-ready. Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. Requires high school diploma, valid driver's license, ability to lift 50 pounds, and knowledge of OSHA standards. Must work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- English proficiency – both written and verbal
- Knowledge of Equal Housing Opportunity (EHO) requirements and applicable program regulations
- Ability to operate a two-axle motor vehicle
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to operate all necessary tools to perform the essential functions of the position
- Experience and working knowledge of OSHA and other environmental safety standards
- Ability to perform a variety of duties in all types of weather
Desired Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License preferred
