Job Summary
Mow, trim, edge, and water lawns; weed, mulch, fertilize, and transplant trees, shrubs, and flowers. Operate mowers, trimmers, hedgers, edgers, sweepers, and chainsaws to maintain landscaping and repair structures. Ensure parking areas, walkways, and sidewalks remain free of dirt, debris, and litter by removing soil, rubbish, and leaves. Maintain irrigation equipment and assist with facility maintenance functions. Valid California Driver's License and minimum 21 years of age required. High school diploma preferred. Experience in landscape maintenance and equipment operation preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 21 years of age
- Valid California Driver's License
- Slip Resistant Shoes
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
- Ability to apply common sense and understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Gaming license issued by the Paskenta Gaming Commission
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move, pull, push, more than 100 pounds with assistance
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision

- Must have depth perception
- Must have the ability to adjust focus
