Job Summary
Groundskeeper needed to maintain interior/exterior property at The Castilian in Austin, TX, supporting cleaning, grounds tasks, trash collection, make-ready duties, turnover processes, and occasional pool maintenance. Role involves cleaning floors (vacuuming/shampooing), assisting service team with work orders and moving supplies, maintaining orderly shops and storage areas, and following safety protocols. Prior facilities maintenance experience is helpful but training is provided; must be reliable, detail-oriented, and able to follow multi-step instructions. Position emphasizes teamwork with the service staff and alignment with ACC culture commitments.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to drive a golf cart
- Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of general labor, housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, MSDS for chemicals
- Ability to understand and carry out multi-step instructions
- Training provided for facilities maintenance as needed
