Job Summary
Maintain campus cleanliness and appearance through general and specialized tasks including cutting lawns, pruning shrubs and trees, cleaning grounds, removing litter and debris, and snow removal. Assist other trades with fence, gate, wall, and walk maintenance while moving furniture, staging, and materials for setup. Perform special assignments such as refuse-recycling driving or pesticide application. Operate a wide variety of hand tools, power equipment, and vehicles while adhering to safety protocols. Work 40 hours weekly from 7am to 3:30pm, with winter hours adjusted to 3pm to 11:30pm. Valid driver's license and willingness to attend training and work weekends or overtime are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Basic math and reading comprehension
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. with assistance
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to attend training and work weekends/overtime as needed
