Job Summary
Maintain assigned property grounds by planting flowers and shrubs, trimming trees and vegetation, and mowing resort areas as defined by contract. Operate lawn mowers, edgers, and trimmers while properly disposing of clippings. Perform tasks including plowing and sweeping sidewalks, fertilizing, pruning, and transplanting vegetation. Wear all required personal protective gear and follow safety, risk management, and environmental policies. Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including summer heat and winter storms, while lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be able to frequently bend/stoop and occasionally squat, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Must be able to work holidays, weekends and other shifts as necessary
- Posses a valid Driver's License
- Knowledge of lawn care equipment including use and maintenance
- Physical ability to complete tasks including ability to push lawn mower, load clippings, ascend and descend ladders
- Ability to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions including summer heat and winter storms
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience landscape maintenance preferred
