Job Summary
Conduct daily course maintenance operations to a high standard while incorporating safe work practices and ensuring cleanliness from the shop area to the golf course. Operate various types of equipment required for maintenance, with Groundskeeper 3 expected to possess extensive knowledge and high-level machinery skills. Assist course maintenance staff in day-to-day operations, maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic while adapting to the department culture. Work 40 hours a week with every other weekend off, utilizing a unique development plan to enhance skills and focus on work-life balance.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a TEAM mentality
- Ability / Willingness to learn new tasks and operate different types of equipment as required
- Ability to provide the extra level of detail / cleanliness from the shop area to the golf course
- Should have experience as a laborer with appropriate grasp of golf course conditions and standards
- Basic knowledge of equipment used on golf courses and for golf course maintenance
- Ability to communicate with team members
- Must be self-motivated, lead by example, and have a strong attention to detail
- The candidate should contain all of the skills and knowledge required to do almost every task on the golf course
- Extensive knowledge of golf course equipment as well as the ability to operate machinery at a high level
