Job Summary
Carries out a wide variety of skilled grounds keeping operations and assists with other trade areas as assigned, including planning, directing and participating in snow removal. Provides landscaping services for facility grounds, lays out and maintains lawns, trees, shrubs, and flowers, selects and applies lawn care products, and coordinates watering and mowing. Responsible for coordinating ice/snow removal and operating snow removal equipment. Performs routine maintenance and repair of grounds-keeping equipment and may perform masonry and taping tasks as needed. Must be available for call-in during emergencies. Requires high school diploma, good mechanical aptitude, and familiarity with tools/equipment across trades. Strong emphasis on safety, communication, and adherence to hospital CARE values.
