Groundskeeper (Part-Time)

Job Summary
Maintain the exterior and interior appearance of assigned property areas by sweeping, scrubbing, waxing floors, washing walls, and removing debris from driveways and pool zones. Empty ashtrays, transport waste, keep storage carts stocked, and inspect common areas for maintenance issues like broken lights or leaks. Report damages, theft, or found articles to supervisors while adhering to safety procedures when using cleaning equipment and chemicals. Perform duties in outdoor weather conditions with physical demands including lifting up to 20 pounds and climbing ladders. Complete required forms and work orders, reporting directly to the department supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum two (2) years working in groundskeeping or janitorial
- Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products
- Ability to react and address all emergency situations in a timely manner
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with and around chemical cleaning solutions
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk
- Ability to climb stairs
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to crawl in small and tight spaces
- Ability to stoop and/or kneel
- Ability to lift and/or move and/or carry up to 20 pounds or more in the work environment
- Ability to handle, finger, grasp and feel objects and equipment
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to quickly and easily navigate the property/building as required
- Ability to repeat various motions with the wrists, hands and fingers
