Job Summary
Walk the property daily to remove trash from grounds, breezeways, parking lots, and behind fence lines; clean around dumpsters, rake, mulch, and weed landscaped areas, and water grounds as needed. Empty all trash containers daily, clean fixtures, carpets, and laundry rooms, and replenish bathroom supplies. Perform snow removal by shoveling steps, sidewalks, and walkways, applying ice melt, and reporting activities to the Community Manager. Use a digital device to manage work orders, complete monthly inspections, and document tasks. Maintain a safe work environment, report hazards, and comply with Fair Housing laws. Deliver community fliers as directed and attend staff meetings. This role supports Dominium's mission to provide quality, affordable housing at Groves of Delray and Villages at Delray in Palm Beach, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to communicate in English orally and understand written and oral instructions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle, mini-truck, under-speed vehicles (USV) and utility vehicles (UTV)
- Auto insurance
