Job Summary
Maintain buildings and grounds, including common areas and amenities, to enhance property curb appeal. Clean the interior and exterior of the property to standard, vacuuming, mopping, and shampooing floors in resident rooms and common areas while stocking bathrooms. Perform property groundskeeping including trash collection, assist the service team with work orders, furniture moving, and apartment make-ready duties such as trash outs, cleaning, and painting. Safely operate all facility equipment and maintain organized shops, storage areas, and back-of-house environments. This role supports the cleanliness and upkeep of ACC student housing communities, with opportunities for new certifications and on-the-job training provided.
Required Qualifications
- The ability to drive a golf cart
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
- Knowledge of general labor, housekeeping and cleaning tasks
- The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, including understanding and following MSDS rules for handling and use of any chemicals
- The ability to understand and carry out written or verbal multi-step instructions
