Job Summary
Inspect property each morning to pick up trash, sweep mail rooms, replace lightbulbs and window screens, and clean pool areas. Perform light painting duties, clean air conditioning vents, and replace filters in vacant and occupied apartments. Assist with apartment make-readies by trash-ing units, caulking, checking appliances and smoke detectors, and installing or moving appliances. Support the Maintenance Supervisor or Technician with after-hours maintenance emergencies. Requires a high school diploma, some groundskeeping experience, and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs. and climb stairs. Valid driver's license may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Some experience in groundskeeping, caretaking or janitorial
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, stay organized and meet deadlines
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to assist with after-hours maintenance emergencies as needed
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to climb stairs on a regular basis
- Valid driver's license
