Groundskeeper

Manage the care of flower beds and landscaping and report anything out of the ordinary to Supervisor. Maintain the grounds to be free of trash and debris. Be able to work independently when required. Have at least a minimal comprehension of plant/tree ID. Knowledgeable in the proper use and care of general landscape equipment. Keep lawns mowed, sidewalks and curbs edged, and curbs and corners swept. Maintain all mowing, plowing equipment, gas-powered equipment, and hand tools in a clean operating order. Maintain hospital owned trucks in a clean and professional manner. Complete work orders, as received. Clean work area at the end of the day. Inspect and report any damage to summer and winter equipment. Leaf removal. Snow removal in the winter months. Complete WebEd courses and other required education. LMH is accredited by DNV and TJC, and as such, may require specific annual education related to specialty certifications and standards.
