Job Summary
Inspect the community daily to remove litter, debris, and pet droppings from common areas, offices, and amenities. Remove trash from vacant apartments, transfer it to dumpsters, and maintain storage areas. Complete minor repairs and routine service requests per the Service Director's direction, assist with the make-ready process, and change locks according to policy. Ensure pool gates meet safety codes, distribute resident notices, and report hazards immediately. Treat residents with respect, answer questions, and respond to maintenance complaints while complying with safety training and policies. Work 40 hours weekly, typically 9:00am to 6:00pm Monday through Friday, with Saturday and Sunday shifts available. Requires a valid driver's license, high school diploma, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently.
Required Qualifications
- Current valid driver's license
- Must be able to push, pull, lift, carry, or maneuver weights of up to fifty (50) pounds independently and one hundred and fifty (150) pounds with assistance
- Must be able to operate golf carts at properties with golf carts
- Must be able to walk extended distances and navigate stairs to multiple levels daily
- Must be able to work inside and outside in all weather conditions including, but not limited to rain, snow, heat, hail, wind and sleet
- Must be able to meet predictable attendance and punctuality expectations
- Rare or regular travel may be required to assist properties as needed, attend training classes, business meetings, or other situations necessary for the accomplishment of some or all of the daily responsibilities of this position
