Job Summary
Conduct daily community upkeep and maintenance tasks for assigned properties, ensuring common areas remain safe, clean, and presentable. Manage landscaping duties including mowing, edging, shrub/tree maintenance, planting, and snow removal. Perform or assist with irrigation system installations and repairs, while painting infrastructure and maintaining furniture. Remove trash and adhere to OSHA safety guidelines and Fair Housing regulations. Drive to sites and meetings with staff and vendors, and be willing to perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to follow instructions
- Proficient in using manual power tools safely
- Acceptable motor vehicle driving history
- Valid and free from restrictions vehicle
- Appropriate vehicle insurance coverage
- Must be able to drive to sites or meetings with staff and vendors
- Must be able to complete physical labor such as frequent walking, lifting, climbing stairs, and standing for at least 8 hours per day
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

- Ability to adjust focus
- Must be able to complete their work satisfactorily in an environment where there are significant distractions, including residents stopping and interrupting

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-year Groundskeeper or related experience preferred
