Job Summary
Maintain the mobile home community in Fort Wayne, Indiana by mowing lawns, pulling weeds, planting flowers, removing debris, and ensuring grounds remain clean and presentable. Safely operate vehicles and commercial machinery to treat weeds, rake leaves, spread mulch, trim shrubs, and remove damaged tree limbs. Perform daily trash pickup from common areas and streets, emptying containers as needed. Work up to 20 hours per week as a seasonal part-time role, responding to business needs after normal hours while following all safety procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3-6 months Previous grounds keeping experience
- 3-6 months Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general grounds maintenance techniques
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
- Ability to respond to business needs after normal business hours
- Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
- Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license
