Job Summary
Operate mowers, tractors, loaders, and spray rigs to mow greens, fairways, and tees while edging, raking bunkers, and aerifying turf. Perform routine manual labor for grounds construction, trim hedges, and assist in new course projects. Maintain all equipment by cleaning daily, conducting preventative maintenance, and reporting failures to the Equipment Manager. Drive work carts to haul materials and manage irrigation systems for tees and fairways. Work early mornings, weekends, and occasionally nights under supervision to ensure all work areas remain clean, orderly, and safe. Adhere to Club policies and support team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the maintenance of golf course tees, fairways, greens, etc.
- Working knowledge of mechanics/mechanical operations, maintenance tools
- Familiarity with golf, and how the job affects the game of golf
- Ability to use hand and power tools and equipment
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Eye for detail
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and occasionally nights
