Job Summary
Maintain facility grounds by landscaping lawns, shrubbery, and planted areas, while repairing damaged zones and replacing bushes, hedges, shrubs, and trees. Inspect grounds and equipment daily to ensure safety, identify necessary repairs, and perform general maintenance work. Clean related areas and inspect landscaping maintenance equipment for light upkeep as needed. This role requires a valid driver's license, three or more years of landscaping experience, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while exerting significant physical force and standing for long periods.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Must be able to withstand exposure to the elements -heat, cold, rain, wind, snow, etc
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to walk for long periods of time on different types of terrain
- Must be able to bend, sit, squat, stand, crawl, walk and reach above shoulder
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- 3+ years of landscaping/lawn care experience
- Experience using power tools such as weed cutter, lawn mower, hedge trimmer, edger, leaf vacuum, blower, etc
