Job Summary
Maintain the golf course and casino grounds by utilizing mowing equipment, edging, raking bunkers, and setting tee markers. Operate string trimmers, blowers, and handheld landscape tools to clear debris and clean flower beds. Perform construction tasks including grading soil, laying sod, installing concrete paths, and repairing irrigation pipes. Keep the maintenance facility clean and organized while monitoring fuel and fluid levels for all equipment. Assist in training new team members and execute other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must have good attendance
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Basic mechanical skills
- Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, benefits, repair, and maintenance
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Good verbal communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Specific vision abilities: distance vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Six months previous grounds keeping experience
- Previous experience operating handheld and ride on power equipment used for golf course maintenance
