Job Summary
Maintain school grounds and interior spaces through seasonal custodial and groundskeeping duties, including unassisted physical labor for lifting, bending, and climbing. Work effectively and respectfully with the public while carrying out directions and maintaining cooperative relationships with a diverse population. Operate as a 1st shift custodian from 7am to 3:30pm during November through April, or as a 2nd shift groundskeeper from 3pm to 11:30pm from April through November. A background in commercial cleaning is preferred, and candidates must pass a background and fingerprint check.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to perform unassisted physical labor/activities (lifting, bending, climbing, etc.)
- Must be able to work effectively and respectfully with the public
- Must be able to understand and carry out directions
- Must be able to maintain cooperative working relationships
- Must demonstrate sensitivity and respect for a diverse population
- Must pass a background and fingerprint check
- Must be available for 1st shift Custodian November through April, 7am - 3:30pm
- Must be available for 2nd shift Groundskeeper April through November, 3pm - 11:30pm
