Groundskeeper

Mow grass, trim shrubs, rake leaves, and pick up outdoor trash daily. Sweep or shovel entranceways and sidewalks as needed, while maintaining sports fields through mowing, seeding, and fertilizing. Perform maintenance on grounds care equipment, assist with renovation projects, and operate school vehicles when required. Complete general cleaning and painting projects as needed. When outdoor work is limited by weather or building workload, handle utility and custodial tasks. Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required; previous groundskeeping experience is helpful. This 1st shift role at Barre City Elementary and Middle School includes health, dental, and retirement benefits.
