Job Summary
Maintain the general upkeep and cleanliness of the apartment community by managing parking lots, building corridors, stairwells, and mechanical rooms. Collect and remove trash, weed beds, and edge landscape borders to ensure a neat appearance. Monitor irrigation systems to ensure adequate watering, repair sprinkler heads and lines, and raking grounds while blowing or sweeping sidewalks and parking lots. Report unhealthy lawn, trees, shrubs, and plants to management. Work outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, shoveling snow and spreading salt during winter seasons.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to shovel snow and/or clear ice from walks, driveways, or parking lots and spread salt in those areas during snow season
- Ability to work outdoors in temperatures above 90 degrees or below 32 degrees Fahrenheit
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and push or pull up to 80 pounds
- Maintain a professional appearance following team dress code policy
- Able to effectively and professionally communicate with residents and co-workers
- Have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in irrigation is a plus
