Job Summary

Perform general golf course and landscape maintenance using hand tools, raking sand bunkers, mowing greens, and caring for turf. Operate small machinery for edging, trimming, blowing, and hauling debris with utility vehicles. Assist with golf course set-up procedures, weed eating, hedging, pruning, and plugging. Maintain small machinery and execute special projects while ensuring daily play preparation. Work outdoors in varied conditions, lifting up to 50lbs, and communicating with guests in basic English. Requires previous golf course experience and reliable attendance.

Required Qualifications

Previous experience on a golf course
Ability to read, write and speak, and communicate in basic English
Ability to operate equipment, including but not limited to mowers, utility vehicles, blowers, trimmers and other grounds machinery
Ability to remain discreet and respect the privacy of guests
Ability to perform consistent work to the highest standards
Ability to interact with guests in a pleasant friendly way
Ability to verbally communicate with guests in a professional manner
Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and properly
Excellent organization skills
Working knowledge of horticulture
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Basic working knowledge of maintenance equipment
Ability to work in a variety of outside conditions for a long period of time
Exposure to dust, dirt, pollen, grass, and landscaping chemicals and fertilizers
Work performed on uneven terrain such as hills, sand, rocks, or rough ground
Lifting, pushing, and pulling materials, tools, and equipment up to 50lbs
Ability to operate equipment, including but not limited to mowers, utility vehicles, blowers, trimmers and other grounds machinery
Ability to read, write and speak and communicate in basic English is necessary
Ability to operate maintenance equipment safely and properly
Ability to read, write and speak, and communicate in basic English
Sufficient education and literacy needed to identify and read product labels and communicate with guests about job-related needs
Ability to operate equipment safely and is aware of associates and their prospective work areas
