Job Summary
The Grounds Specialist maintains the property's grounds, common areas, and amenities, and assists the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager by performing general maintenance and repairs. Responsibilities include walking the property to remove litter and debris, handling trash and recyclables, logging pool levels and vacuuming pools, assisting with facility upkeep, and maintaining grills and safety timers. Preferred candidates have 1+ year of general labor experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification. Must be able to use hand tools and cleaning supplies, manage time effectively, communicate well, and lift up to ~50 lbs; position requires working over 40 hours per week. Required Qualifications
- One or more years of general labor job experience is preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
- Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certified is preferred
- Ability to use a variety of hand tools, cleaning supplies and other equipment needed for the role
- Excellent time management skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills via all communication channels
- Ability to lift tools, equipment and other items in the unit (approximately 50 lbs)
- Work over 40 hours per week as business needs deem appropriate
