Grounds Maintenance Worker (B)

Perform minor unskilled or semi-skilled maintenance including custodial work, painting, plumbing, carpentry, and trades tasks in open spaces or city structures like restrooms and maintenance sheds. Execute manual labor such as digging ditches, patching potholes with hot and cold mix, cleaning drains, building fences, installing signs, and repairing street construction. Maintain ground level sprinkler systems and sweep, wash, paint, and repair public works buildings. Manage city property care through seeding, fertilizing, top dressing, watering, and mowing while assisting in pest and weed control.
