Job Summary
Maintain HANO's properties by performing lawn care, trimming hedges, weeding, and removing debris while operating gas-powered tools, riding mowers, and tractors. Keep grounds, parking areas, and sidewalks clean and safe by disposing of trash, removing tires, and securing structures. Perform light building maintenance such as replacing light bulbs, smoke detectors, and doorknobs, plus general cleaning duties in common areas and unit preparation for evictions. Assist Mechanics with work orders, empty trash containers daily, and maintain an inventory of supplies and equipment. Report property conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor and may act as a team lead to ensure proper tool utilization and task completion.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Working knowledge of general grounds maintenance practices
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Must be able to obtain a Class D endorsement
- Must meet the requirements to be an authorized driver of HANO's fleet vehicles
