Grounds Maintenance Specialist

Maintain grounds and facilities by operating heavy machinery and managing plot gardens, landscaped areas, and orchards. Execute tasks including tilling, planting, fertilizing, pruning trees, weeding, and applying pesticides while ensuring proper disposal. Operate zero turn mowers, tractors, front-end loaders, and chainsaws, and perform general building maintenance such as snow removal and debris cleanup. Maintain equipment through sharpening, belt replacement, and tune-ups. Work Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with on-call availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Requires a valid driver's license, State of Nebraska pesticide applicator license, and in-house certification for boom truck and loader operation.
