Job Summary
Perform grounds keeping and maintenance tasks including using mechanized equipment such as lawn mowers and weed eaters. Complete interments and entombments, ensuring accurate location identification within cemetery maps. Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to maintain professional respect for families, and operates in physically demanding environments with exposure to outdoor elements. Must be able to lift heavy equipment and materials, and perform outdoor duties in varying weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, training and experience preferred
- Minimum of 1-year grounds experience
- Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual is a plus
- Experience using large and medium scale equipment
