Job Summary
Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas through mowing, edging, pruning, and general garden care. Complete general repairs including painting, fixture replacement, minor plumbing, and basic plastering. Keep communal spaces presentable via rubbish removal, high-pressure cleaning, and upkeep. Respond to resident maintenance requests while reporting progress to the Park Manager. Adhere to WHS requirements when using tools and chemicals. Work independently outdoors to ensure the park remains safe, functional, and welcoming for residents and visitors at Geraldton (Sunshine Beach Holiday Park).
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, landscaping, property maintenance, handyman work or a similar hands-on role
- Confidence using hand and power tools and completing a range of routine non-trade maintenance and repair tasks
- A good understanding of WHS, safe work practices and the safe handling of equipment and chemicals
- The initiative to identify what needs attention, prioritise your workload and complete tasks independently to a high standard
- A friendly and respectful communication style, with a genuine willingness to assist residents and contribute positively to the onsite team
