Job Summary
Maintain gardens, lawns, and outdoor areas through mowing, edging, pruning, planting, and weed control. Complete general handyman tasks including painting, minor repairs, fixture replacements, and routine maintenance such as changing light bulbs, replacing locks, and cleaning air conditioning filters. Respond promptly to maintenance requests while operating hand and power tools safely and maintaining accurate maintenance records. Provide friendly service to residents and contractors while supporting workplace health and safety requirements. Work independently Monday to Friday for 20 hours per week at $28.87 per hour in a permanent part-time role within Eureka Villages' Earlville village community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in grounds keeping, gardening, landscaping or a handyman role
- Confidence using hand and power tools safely
- A proactive approach and the ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Good communication skills and a friendly, approachable manner
- An understanding of safe work practices and WHS requirements
- A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Permanent part-time position with 20 hours per week
- Monday to Friday (no weekends or public holidays)
