Job Summary
Pick up debris and trash around the site prior to mowing, then operate lawn mowers and other grass cutting equipment. Trim and edge grass around trees, shrubs, mulched beds, poles, and sidewalks, while mulching and weeding designated beds. Cut, trim foliage, and perform basic tree pruning as directed, utilizing general knowledge of weed trimmers and mowers. Operate other basic landscaping and grounds equipment as needed. Perform additional similar tasks as assigned to meet ongoing facility needs. This full-time role in Springfield, VA, includes normal Monday through Friday hours subject to change based on training demands.
Required Qualifications
- US citizen
- eligible to obtain and maintain clearance
- able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment
- valid driver's license
- Physically able to climb ladders and stairs
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
