Job Summary
Maintain property grounds by planting and caring for grass, trees, flowers, and shrubs while handling snow removal and assisting with barn and dorm repairs. Keep all equipment well maintained and operate various kinds of machinery safely, including mowing on hills. Work a 6am to 4pm shift with Friday through Sunday days off, lifting 75 pounds and climbing ladders in an indoor/outdoor environment. Maintain a valid Class B driver's license with CDL and Air Brakes, and be prepared for a 24-hour call for snow removal during winter months. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid Class B driver's license (CDL with Air Brakes)
- Safe driving record
- Must meet company insurance requirements
- Must pay close attention to detail
- Must be able to operate various kinds of equipment safely and cautiously
- Ability to communicate and interact verbally and in writing with people of diverse backgrounds
- Indoor/Outdoor environment
- Smoking environment
- Must be able to climb and work from a ladder
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Ability to stand or walk for an 8-hour shift, bend, stoop, and twist
- Mowing on hills
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and varied hours
