Grounds Maintenance Assistant

Advance Metroparks Toledo’s conservation mission by performing building and grounds maintenance tasks. Duties include cleaning restrooms, picking up litter, trash removal, special event setup/cleanup, maintaining park grounds, painting and staining park features, completing trail improvements, horticultural tasks such as mowing, weeding, watering, pruning, planting, and applying pesticides/herbicides under supervision. Safely operate park vehicles with trailers between assignments; respond to public inquiries politely. Schedule varies (March–December), 16–40 hours per week (2–5 days), with some weekend/holiday shifts; requires a valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
