Job Summary

Maintain grounds to ensure properties are attractive and safe, including mowing, trimming, watering, and seasonal upkeep. Complete light maintenance and corrective repairs in apartments and common areas, covering basic plumbing, electrical, drywall, painting, and fixture replacements. Assist with apartment make-readies by cleaning and preparing units for new residents. Perform routine inspections on buildings, equipment, and grounds while responding to emergency needs and participating in the on-call rotation. Support inventory control of tools and equipment, and interact professionally with residents and vendors. Requires high school diploma, previous maintenance experience, and strong mechanical aptitude. Competitive hourly pay starts at $18-$19 with medical, dental, and vision insurance.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous maintenance & groundskeeping experience, preferably in a multifamily or property management environment
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and general repairs
  • Ability to read and complete work orders and service requests accurately
  • Reliable transportation
  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to perform physical work, including lifting up to 30+ pounds and working both indoors and outdoors

  • Ability to participate in the on-call rotation when assigned
