Job Summary
Mow lawns using hand, power, or riding mowers, trimming edges around walks, flower beds, and walls. Maintain landscape beds through planting, pruning, weeding, watering, fertilizing, and mulching. Prune trees and shrubs to preserve grounds in a healthy, attractive, and safe condition. Prepare grounds for resort events and assist groups setting up for mass gatherings. Grade roads and apply dust-settling agents as needed. Remove snow and ice from parking lots, walkways, and steps. Operate snow-making equipment and oversee the 3rd shift of snow guns. Blow, rake, mulch, and clean up leaves in spring and fall. Assist other personnel to ensure an efficient work environment while executing tasks efficiently and timely.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year experience in grounds keeping or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good skill in the use of hand and power tools
- Ability to follow simple instructions
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Required to be able to kneel, bend, walk, reach, lift, sit, stand, climb, balance and crawl
- Must be able to move 100 lbs
- Valid Driver's license
