Job Summary
The Groundskeeper is responsible for landscaping and maintenance around the golf course, including mowing greens, aprons, fairways, roughs, and tees, and maintaining organized work areas. The role includes watering areas, operating irrigation systems, grading and preparing soil, laying sod and seeds, trimming and pruning shrubbery, and applying pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. Applicants should possess skills in landscaping, equipment operation, and have the ability to follow instructions.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to design, coordinate, and maintain landscaping on the golf course
- Experience with operating greens/fairway mowers
- Ability to create spray programs for the golf course
- Ability to operate all tools and equipment related to golf course operations
- Ability to give oral and written instructions
- Skilled in seeding, fertilizing, mulching, and general ground preparation for restoration and renovation
