Grounds Crew II

Maintain, repair, and replace building components, equipment, tools, and machinery by operating backhoes, forklifts, and tractors safely. Examine and test machinery for defects, adjust wiring and piping, and install or replace parts using hand and power tools. Clean work areas, lubricate equipment, and apply protective materials to prevent corrosion. Accept and complete assigned work orders, document completion, and assist more skilled workers in maintenance tasks. Move equipment, furniture, and materials between locations as needed while adhering to district policies and the Desegregation Plan. Work five days a week in a school setting with frequent student contact.
