Job Summary
Maintain the overall appearance and health of the golf course grounds and clubhouse by operating mowing equipment for fairways, greens, tees, and roughs. Perform trimming around trees and bunkers, assist with irrigation system operation, and rake sand traps to ensure proper playing conditions. Set up the course daily by moving tee markers, replacing divots, and repairing ball marks while planting, trimming, and maintaining vegetation. Apply pesticides and herbicides following safety protocols, clean floors, glass, bathrooms, and guest seating, and handle facility trash removal and spill cleanup. Respond to guest concerns, provide directions, and complete special projects as directed by management.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours) and regular attendance necessary
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Must have excellent guest service skills
- Must be detail-oriented and have outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- Ability to remain calm and focused in difficult and stressful situations
- Must be respectful and friendly to our athletes, guests, visitors, spectators, leaders, and fellow Team Members
- Must work well with others
- Must take personal initiative for the betterment of the team and facility
- Commitment to the safety and wellbeing of others
- Have sports experience or an interest to learn
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds waist high
- May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time, whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop, or bend into awkward positions while performing job functions
- Will be required to operate a computer
- Must be able to walk intermittently
- Must be able to successfully complete our Utility Vehicle training program
