Job Summary
Groundperson in a quarry setting focused on safety, plant maintenance, and teamwork. Responsibilities include performing plant maintenance, maintaining clean work areas, following MSHA and H&K safety policies, cross-training to learn all plant jobs, and taking direction from site personnel. Requires ability to work 1st or 2nd shift, lift up to 100 pounds occasionally, and operate or learn to operate heavy equipment (loader experience preferred). Pre-employment drug testing and EOE policies apply. Benefits include health/dental/vision, 401(k), tuition reimbursement, and on-the-job training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (such as the GED) from an accredited educational institution OR related experience and/or training
- MSHA or other relevant safety certification
