Groundperson to support climbers and crew in tree care operations, assisting with pruning and removal services, operating power tools and equipment, driving DOT-regulated vehicles, assisting with cleanups, and assisting with installation of cables, bracing, and lighting protection systems; outdoor office with progressive greenspace stewardship, opportunities for advancement, and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's license
- Ability to obtain DOT med card upon hire
- Previous experience working in a tree crew
- Preferred: Previous experience operating stump grinders, excavation equipment and more
- Ability to complete Davey Tree Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
