Job Summary
Perform new construction, maintain, and repair overhead electrical distribution systems including power lines, poles, insulators, and conductors. Assist the Foreman in building and fixing infrastructure while strictly adhering to safety protocols, PPE use, and insulated protective cover procedures. Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools in good working order. Work outdoors in varying environmental conditions such as extreme heat, cold, rain, and wind. Be available for outages, storms, and emergencies including on-call rotation. Willing to travel long distances and work extended periods at job sites, including weekends, holidays, and overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- ability to obtain a CDL within 60 days
- Willingness to travel long distances on short notice
- Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work outside of normal business hours, including weekends, holidays, emergency callouts, and overtime
- Comprehensive understanding of insulated protective cover to isolate differences of potential
- Understanding of when to wear personal protective equipment
