Job Summary
Operate heavy equipment and office machines including PCs, tablets, and printers while occasionally traveling across the SVEC service area for planned events, storms, or emergencies. Handle high-stress situations and perform occasional heavy lifting up to 25 lbs. Complete the SVEC LAP Apprenticeship and maintain a Class A Commercial Driver's License. This full-time role requires living in or relocating to the Grundy County service area. Reports to the Tracy City, TN office with occasional after-hours work for emergency events.
Required Qualifications
- Must live in or be willing to relocate to SVEC's Grundy County service area
- Must be willing to successfully complete the SVEC LAP Apprenticeship
- Minimum high school diploma
- Required Class A Commercial Driver's License
- Must be able to handle high-stress situations
- Must live in the Grundy County service area or be willing to relocate to the service area
- Requires occasional travel across SVEC area, rare travel outside SVEC area
- Some after-hours work is required due to occasional planned events, storm-related events, or emergency events
- Occasional heavy lifting up to 25 lbs
