Maintain clean job sites, supply tools to linemen, and dig trenches while driving ground rods. Frame poles, prepare armor rods, tie wires, and set up handlines. Operate chainsaws to trim trees along the right-of-way and position cables for construction. Cares for rubber protective equipment, fiberglass sticks, and other safety gear. Move and lift heavy equipment and materials. Climbs energized or de-energized poles after proper qualification. Perform work on energized secondary meter connections after qualification. Follow all safety rules when working on electrical equipment. Maintain proper traffic control around the work area. Complete other projects as assigned. Requires a commercial driver's license and DOT card with a safe driving record.
