Job Summary
Conduct site preparation, landscaping, and general labour tasks including removing and laying flag work, digging trenches for utilities, and preparing concrete paths, footings, and ramps. Identify and rectify defects in groundwork as required while maintaining a clean, safe work environment and operating hand tools and light machinery safely. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions with a valid driver's license preferred. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient operation of construction and maintenance projects across social housing and public sector buildings.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in Ground working essential on site and domestic premises
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Groundwork and General Construction
- Certification in equipment operation
- Good communication skills
