Job Summary
Conduct daily operational support for the Wideband Global SATCOM System (WGS) as a technical expert for Ground Systems Controllers and Modernized Earth Terminals. Execute maintenance checklists and preventative procedures while disseminating updates to field technicians, including tech bulletins and safety advisories. Stay current on all technical changes for weapons systems to ensure mission readiness for Space Delta 8. Requires US Active Top Secret clearance, 8+ years satellite ground station experience, and 4+ years MET maintenance work. Salary range $120,000.00 - $170,000.00.
Required Qualifications
- US Active Top Secret (or TS/SCI) level clearance (eligible for immediate adjudication by the cognizant security authority)
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or related major
- Minimum of 8 years satellite ground station experience
- Minimum of 4 years MET experience as an operator and maintainer (including detailed maintenance work)
Desired Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years WSOC experience preferred (e.g. operator, system administrator)
