Job Summary
Satellite Ground Engineer (d/m/f) focusing on ground stations and telecommunication for national space projects. Contributes to definition and design of Satellite Ground Systems using Scrum and Model-Based Systems Engineering; analyses requirements and defines architecture for Ground Segments regarding telecommunication and ground stations; designs trade-offs and interfaces; specifies hardware/software elements and redundancy concepts; calculates link budgets; supports system development, AIV, and studies; coordinates subcontractors and partners; collaborates across Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering. Requires university degree in Aerospace, Computer Science, or Computer Communications (Network) and knowledge of ECSS/CCSDS standards; strong communication, team-oriented work style, and fluency in German and English (French a plus). Flexible working arrangements and home-office options mentioned.
Required Qualifications
- completed university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Communications (Network), or equivalent qualification
- knowledge and practical experience in processes and standards of the space industry (ECSS, CCSDS)
- experience in systems engineering and related methods/tools
- fluent German and English; French a plus
