Job Summary
Maintain, inspect, and repair ground service equipment used to support airport operations. Perform all scheduled preventative maintenance for GSE, conduct basic diagnostic and troubleshooting procedures using test equipment and manuals, perform corrective repairs, and complete assignment forms. Operate forklift and tow equipment; manage oil spills and proper disposal of used fluids. Be willing to perform other duties such as aircraft fueling and deicing, cargo loading/unloading, and general ground operations as needed. Work indoors and outdoors in an airport environment under various weather conditions and noise levels.
Required Qualifications
- Must have at least 2 years of experience as a Ground Service Equipment mechanic
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass background check, pre-employment drug test
- Must have authorization to work in the U.S.
- Must have valid Driver's license with a good driving record within company standards
- Must be willing to work outside in all types of weather and elevated noise levels within the airport environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must read and work from diagrams
- Ability to work under pressure
