Ground Ramp Supervisor

Job Summary
Supervise agents and leads on each shift to ensure proper procedures are followed safely and efficiently. Mentor and coach staff while conducting on-the-job training. Guide inbound and outbound airplanes to and from gates, then transport, load, and unload passenger baggage, cargo, and mail. Clean aircraft cabins between flights and stock them with supplies. Operate heavy equipment to move luggage, tow planes between gates, and refill water tanks and lavatories. Assist with creating and managing staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for every flight. Be flexible and willing to perform any other tasks required by the company. Work twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, with strict adherence to attendance policies.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds (23 kg) on a regular basis
- Carry heavy items up and down jetway stairs
- Climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis and for extended periods
- Work outside in all types of weather
- Work around jet and machinery noises
- Ability to work flexible schedules
- Ability to work on weekends, (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) and holidays
- Strict adherence to company attendance policies
