Job Summary
Ground Service Agent responsible for loading/unloading luggage and cargo, distributing flight paperwork, marshaling aircraft, preparing weight and balance, servicing aircraft (lavatory, potable water, deicing), and operating equipment (belt-loaders, tugs, air-start units, deice trucks); must have valid US driver’s license, be able to lift 50 pounds, stand long periods, flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays, and obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification and airport security clearance; must be 18+, authorized to work in the US, and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license issued by a US state, a US territory or the District of Columbia
- Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, reach and grasp
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to participate in paid training that may require overnight travel
- Ability to obtain USPS Mail Handling Certification
- Ability to obtain airport security clearance
- Ability to communicate in English, high school diploma or equivalent, minimum age of 18, and authorization to work in the U.S.
