Job Summary
Ground Ramp Lead oversees daily ramp operations, supervises ramp agents in safe loading/unloading and movement of aircraft, coordinates ground support equipment, ensures timely aircraft turnaround, conducts safety checks, trains/mentors ramp agents, and ensures compliance with aviation regulations. Responsibilities include leading a team, communicating with flight crews and ground teams, troubleshooting ramp issues to minimize delays, and upholding safety and operational procedures. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in ground handling preferred
- 2+ years of experience in ground handling, with at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage teams in fast-paced environments
- Knowledge of ramp operations, safety protocols, and ground support equipment
- Authorization to work in the United States if work location is in the US
- Authorization to work in Canada if work location is in Canada
